Paul Rifkin is the Consultant Chef at chefpaulrifkin consulting. He provides mentoring and training to your head chef on-site, fine-tuning catering operations and uncovering what is really happening in your business. Paul is involved in industry training and development and is also a member of chefs’ associations, including 30 years with the ACF.
Paul has more than 30 years’ experience as an Executive Chef and over 40 years in the kitchen, including nearly 17 years at Campbelltown Catholic Club as Executive Chef. He was highly involved in the design and construction of 8 new kitchens, including a hotel, convention centre, restaurants and events spaces. During this time business quadrupled and culminated in 3,000 dining seats and 13,000 meals a week.
Before starting chefpaulrifkin consulting Paul was Executive Chef at the Manor House Balmain, Barnaby’s Restaurants, 4.5-star Hotels and Sous Chef in the Athletes Olympic Village. Paul has also spent time as a teacher at Ryde TAFE.
